Leeds United currently sit second in the Championship table right now and should still have automatic promotion in their sights.

The Whites have been at the top end of the table for most of the season, but there are still 15 league fixtures remaining and the chasing pack aren’t far behind.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team have started to feel the pressure it seems of late and have picked up just seven points from their last seven games.

The most worrying Leeds trend is the goals they are now conceding, as they have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine matches.

They kept 10 clean sheets in the opening 22 league games and a lot of their success was built on a solid defence, but that appears to have disappeared now.

Bielsa needs to try reinforce his backline and get them back to playing their best football, which should give them a real good chance of ending up in the top flight next year.

There have been several disruptions to personnel and they now have a new goalkeeper in the shape of Kiko Casilla in-between the sticks.

Leeds’ promotion bid could derail if they continue to struggle defensively, so it will be interesting to see if they can get back to their own resilient ways when they host Swansea City on Wednesday night.
