Leeds United have recently taken an interest in Leyton Orient striker Macauley Bonne, TEAMtalk reports.
Alongside Derby County, Nottingham Forest and Norwich City, Leeds were hoping to sign the non-league striker in January.
But their task has just been made harder with news that Premier League clubs have entered the race.
According to The Sun, Leicester City are in pole position to sign the 23-year-old.
And Crystal Palace, Fulham, Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United are ready to scrap for Bonne as well.
Championship trio Stoke, QPR and Sheffield United have also been credited with an interest in the £500,000-rated attacker.
With growing interest in the twice-capped Zimbabwe international, Leeds must act quickly if they are to land their man.

Although stepping up from the National League to the Championship is a sizeable task, Bonne’s natural finishing ability is a promising sign that he could succeed at a higher level.
The former Colchester United forward scored 25 goals for the O’s last season and has followed that up with a staggering 17 goals in 24 games this term.
Bonne is not renowned for his pace, strength or hold-up play but he tends to get into good positions and is clinical with the chances he gets.
The impressive youngster will not be in East London for much longer and if Leeds are serious about Bonne, they need to move early in the January window.
