Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing midfielder Michael Folorunsho from Italian third-tier club Vitrus Francavilla.
According to Tuttocalciopuglia, the Whites are in pole position for the 21-year-old talent this summer.
The report details that Leeds chairman Andrea Razrizzani is keen to bring him to Elland Road.
Folorunsho has just enjoyed a strong individual campaign, where he scored seven goals in 35 games across all competitions.
The Italian is a central midfielder with an eye for goal and may have a bright future, but he certainly should be the list of Leeds’ ambition this season.
It would be a big ask for him to step up to Marcelo Bielsa’s first team next season from Serie C and should be viewed as a long-term project.

The Yorkshire giants need to try add some experienced bodies to their squad next year, as their Championship rivals certainly won’t be standing still in the summer market and could be even stronger.
They went so close last season to promotion to the Premier League with a third-placed league finish, before losing out in the play-off semi-finals to Derby County.
Leeds need to try have a bigger squad next season that can get over the line for promotion and that means adding first-team ready players.
