Leeds United fans know that manager Marcelo Bielsa is at the helm for another season and that’s the most important news at Elland Road so far this summer.

But the Whites supporters are now waiting to see some transfer activity and there is plenty of speculation.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reported earlier in June that Leeds are keen on a loan swoop for attacker Helder Costa from Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It is understood the 25-year-old will be available for a temporary exit this summer away from Molineux.

The Portugal international would be a brilliant addition next season for the Yorkshire club, as he previously helped Wolves win promotion from the Championship.

Costa is a dazzling wide player that would benefit from a spell back in England’s second-tier to reignite his form and would add creativity to Bielsa’s team.

There is a risk that Leeds could lose a winger in the shape of their rising star Jack Clarke, who has received a lot of attention since breaking through the academy into the first team.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post in May, Tottenham were keen on a summer raid for Clarke.

Football.London reports that a deal is not yet at an advanced stage for the 18-year-old, but there is definite interest from Spurs.

Clarke is a serious talent that may have a great future in the game, but Leeds target Costa may be a better option in the short-term.

Bielsa should hope to have both players in his squad for next year, but Costa is definitely more developed than counterpart Clarke and could make a bigger impact on the Championship next season.
