Leeds make enquiry for Birmingham youngster Ramello Mitchell
Leeds United are reportedly interested in Birmingham CIty’s teenage striker Ramello Mitchell.
According to the Daily Mail, the Whites have made an initial enquiry to the Championship club after being alerted to the 16-year-old.
It is understood that Manchester City and Southampton have also made their own enquiries, while Manchester United and Liverpool scouts have watched him.
The report further details that Wolverhampton Wanderers are pushing to land the highly-rated ace and want to take him to Molineux ahead of next season.
Wolves appear to be the frontrunners as they try to strike a deal, but Leeds should be optimistic of hijacking their interest if they are serious about taking Mitchell to Elland Road.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has certainly introduced the footprint of playing youngsters since he joined in the summer.
There have been several academy players promoted to the first team during his tenure so far and there is no fear to throw in young players.
