Elia Caprile appears to have dropped a further hint that he is on the verge of joining Leeds United, with the goalkeeper’s Instagram showing that he has started following Kiko Casilla and Illan Meslier.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported earlier this week that the Whites are close to signing Caprile. The youngster was reportedly spotted in the stands at Elland Road on Saturday.
It is already looking likely that the 18-year-old may become Marcelo Bielsa’s first signing of the January transfer window.
And it appears that he has dropped another hint that he could be about to make the move.

It is obviously not a guarantee that Caprile has made the switch until the club have announced the move. But it would be a surprise if he started following the pair if talks were not progressing well.
It looks to be a potential coup for Leeds should they manage to sign the highly-rated Italian. The Whites have had some good young goalkeepers on their books in recent years, and Caprile has the potential to be the latest.
Meslier showed on his first-team debut against Arsenal that he is one youngster to keep an eye on in the future. Meanwhile, Kamil Miazek has impressed for the under-23s.
Should Caprile’s move go through without a problem, it will be interesting to see how he gets on in the coming months competing with his teammates for chances at the various age groups.
