Leeds United look set to miss out on former Reading forward Danny Loader, with the Daily Mail reporting that youngster is in advanced talks with Porto.
Loader is a free agent following the end of the Championship season. And it was reported by the Daily Mail at the start of the month that Leeds and Crystal Palace were looking at the 19-year-old.

However, it appears that his Premier League admirers are going to miss out on the teenager.
The Daily Mail has since claimed that Porto have offered Loader a three-year deal worth almost £1 million a year.

It appears that there is still work to do before Loader joins the Portuguese champions. But the Mail has suggested that a move is edging closer with the two parties in advanced talks.
TBR View: Leeds and Palace may rue Loader’s move elsewhere in the future
Leeds and Palace seemingly missing out may not appear to be a huge setback for either club in the immediate future.
Loader was not able to establish himself in the Reading side this past season. He made just one Championship start with a further six appearances coming from the bench.
Nevertheless, it says a lot that the likes of Leeds, Palace and Porto have all been tracking the starlet.
And he will be hoping to go on and prove that joining the latter was the right decision in the years to come.
