Chelsea fans have suggested that Conor Gallagher should have joined Leeds United instead of Crystal Palace.

TeamTalk reported yesterday how Gallagher turned down Leeds in favour of a move to Selhurst Park.

Leeds had apparently agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign the young midfielder, but he preferred the move to Palace.

It is a move which is set to excite supporters of Patrick Vieira’s side.

But Chelsea fans feel he would have been better suited to joining Leeds.

Better at Leeds?

Gallagher could indeed have made an impressive addition to Leeds side.

The 21-year-old possesses the energy and aggression to thrive in a side managed by Marcelo Bielsa.

Palace will argue that they have their own exciting project developing, though.

The Eagles have had one of the most impressive transfer windows of any Premier League side so far, and Gallagher will only add further quality to their side.
