Leeds United fans rave about Pablo Hernandez following double accolade

Leeds United saw their automatic promotion hopes diminish yesterday following their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at Elland Road.

It was a game marred with controversy but the share of the ultimately ensured that Sheffield United joined Norwich City in the Premier League next season.

For the Whites, it is the lottery of the play-offs for them and Marcelo Bielsa must get his team geared up for three massive games.

Last night, it was the end of season awards night for the Leeds players and coaching staff.

Pablo Hernandez proved the night’s big winner as he claimed Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters Player of the Year.

The 34-year-old has scored 12 goals and contributed 12 assists this season, becoming Leeds’ main man in the process.

Boss Bielsa will hope that Hernandez can maintain his current good form into the play-offs and ensure the season can still be deemed a successful one.
