Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe has been passed fit to be part of Marcelo Bielsa’s squad to face Birmingham City at St Andrew’s tomorrow, as per the Yorkshire Evening Post.
They report that after eight games out with knee ligament damage, and despite not being eased back in via the under 23s, as has become customary at Elland Road this season, Roofe can play a part against the Blues as Leeds look to remain in the Championship’s top two.
Bielsa said: “Roofe is healthy. “He couldn’t play with the Under-23s because there was no game but he will be with the squad.”

After Patrick Bamford’s penalty miss against Millwall last weekend and the way his languid style has taken something away from Leeds’ attack, Roofe’s return is a welcome boost for Bielsa.
It’s just a case of whether he rushes Roofe back into contention from the start or keeps him at as an impact substitution, in case the game goes the same away as the first encounter between the sides this season, when Leeds suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of their former manager Garry Monk.
But if Roofe can stay fit from now until the end of the season, it could go a long way to ensuring the Whites return to the big time come May.
