Leeds United host Chelsea on Saturday in the Premier League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have urged manager Marcelo Bielsa to start versatile man Stuart Dallas in midfield.

The Yorkshire giants welcome London club Chelsea to Elland Road this weekend, with the latter unbeaten since Thomas Tuchel took charge as their new manager.

Leeds were beaten 3-1 by their upcoming opponents in the reverse league fixture and have lost four of their last five matches.

Fortunately, the Whites are 11th in the league standings clear of a relegation battle due to the way they’ve performed for the majority of their debut campaign back in the top flight.

Bielsa’s team selection each week is always interesting, as his team are flexible in-game and several players can pop up in different areas of the pitch.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media are convinced that Dallas should line up in the centre of the park against Chelsea.

The 29-year-old has frequently switched between defensive and midfield positions this season, surely making him one of the most versatile individuals in the entire division.

He’s started left-back in the past two matches against West Ham and Aston Villa, but he does bring a lot to the XI with his tireless work-rate and quality on the ball when he’s in the centre of the park.
