Leeds and Arsenal are reportedly doing battle for Ajax defender Nouassir Mazraoui – and Whites fans have urged their club to get a deal done.
Mazraoui, 24, is out of contract at Ajax at the end of the season – and a new deal looks unlikely to be agreed. Leeds and Arsenal are interested.
The Morocco international is quickly emerging as one of the best right-backs in Champions League football, outside of top-five European leagues.
Indeed, this season, Mazraoui has seven goal involvements in 16 games from the right side of the defence. He has scored four times himself.
ESPN claim that both Arsenal and Leeds are considering deals ahead of the January window. He could be signed on a free from January 1.
A pre-contract arrangement would see either side get Mazraoui in the summer. Or, the duo could striker a cut-price agreement for the defender.

Leeds fans have say on Ajax ace Mazraoui, with Arsenal also keen
Leeds have options at right-back. A quick look at the first team sees Luke Ayling as first choice, with Jamie Shackleton the first replacement.
Stuart Dallas can also play as a right-back, but is often seen at left-back or in midfield. Cody Drameh made his debut earlier this season, for the firsts.
So, Leeds do have options. The issue is, is that Ayling is now 30. Dallas is better in midfield or at left-back. Shackleton is naturally a midfielder.
Drameh is still a rookie. So, bringing in Mazraoui might actually make sense. Leeds fans have had their say on Twitter.
