Raphinha has become a favourite at Elland Road in a very short space of time. The Leeds wide man has wowed fans with his goals, assists, skills and work rate on the right flank. Raphinha has attracted interest – but Leeds fans think they have seen a sign he is staying, on Instagram.

The 24-year-old Brazilian joined Leeds from Rennes in a late move orchestrated by Victor Orta – and the player’s agent, Deco. Clocking up 30 Premier League outings, the £17million addition scored six goals and created nine more. He has been in excellent form for the Whites.

Reports from Raphinha’s homeland of Brazil have claimed Liverpool, and Manchester United, want the Leeds star – following his first season. Meanwhile, Raphinha posted on his Instagram story on Monday, a graphic that included Raphinha in a Leeds shirt alongside some English landmarks.

It could be. Raphinha’s every move will be tracked this summer. Every comments scrutinised, every social media upload discussed. But his latest post does seem as though he is focused on the new season with Leeds – with pre-season close. Leeds fans certainly think it is a sign.

While some were concerned that many of the background landmarks were to do with London, others are confident it is a sign Raphinha is staying. One Leeds fan had a message for Liverpool supporters – telling them: “if this doesn’t tell you LFC fans he’s staying at Leeds, nothing will.”
