Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has confirmed that his side have rejected an offer from Leeds United for attacker Ryan Kent – but some of the Whites supporters on Twitter are convinced he’s hinted at selling him this summer.
Gerrard claimed on Friday that Rangers have turned down an opening bid from Leeds for Kent that fell well short of their valuation for him.
The Gers boss went on to add that the Whites should “think hard” if they are to come back with another offer for him, which are the comments that has got fans talking.
Kent was linked with Leeds prior to Gerrard’s confirmation on Friday, with the Sun reporting earlier in the week that a £10million bid was being submitted for him from the newly-promoted English Premier League side.
The 23-year-old is clearly a well valued player at Ibrox and has been a regular for the Scottish giants since he joined permanently from Liverpool back in 2019, scoring 16 goals and supplying 13 assists in 80 games across all competitions for them.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds do have the likes of Jack Harrison, Helder Costa and Pablo Hernandez available to them in wide areas, but may need a good squad depth to cope with the Premier League.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media believe Rangers will sell Kent for the right price based off Gerrard’s comments.
