Leeds United have learned their fixtures for the 2019/20 season – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are confident they can enjoy promotion on the final day.
The Whites host Charlton Athletic on 2 May next year on the final day, where they will come up against their former player Lee Bowyer.
Bowyer, 42, had a successful playing career at Elland Road, while as a manager he helped Charlton to promotion from League One last season via the play-offs.
Marcelo Bielsa’s team begin the campaign away to Bristol City in August, with the Boxing Day at home to Preston and New Years Day away at West Brom.
Some Leeds fans are extremely optimistic of promotion in the upcoming season and feel it’s destiny they go up against Charlton.
The Yorkshire giants finished third last season in the Championship, before they were beaten in the play-off semi-finals against Derby County.
They will get the chance of revenge against Derby when they clash in the league in September (home) and April (away).

Leeds have confirmed their full fixture list (official Twitter) for the campaign and supporters are now plotting their path to promotion.
They do have some difficult spells to try negotiate, which includes facing the three relegated teams from the Premier League back-to-back in March.
