Ezgjan Alioski played 90 minutes for North Macedonia on Thursday night – and some Leeds United fans on Twitter criticised him for his quality crossing and asked why they haven’t seen that at Elland Road.
The 27-year-old played in a 1-1 draw for his country away to Israel in a European Championship qualifying match.
Eran Zahavi gave hosts Israel the lead in the second-half, but Arijan Ademi’s header from an Alioski free-kick drew Macedonia level to win a point.
Alioski has been transformed into a full-back under Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa and is a regular in the Macedonia team in the same position.
The left wing-back has a brilliant engine that allows to cover so much ground every game and he showed his set-piece quality with a whipped delivery into the box against Israel.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media were all criticising Alioski about his crossing, as they weren’t pleased he could produce an excellent assist for his country.
The full-back is yet to register an assist in six games across all competitions this season and it’s an area of his game he needs to improve.
He has a tremendous work-rate and is a real fan favourite, but he’s competing with Whites teammate Barry Douglas for the left-back role and he has great crossing ability.
