Leeds United missed the chance to get back into the top two of the Championship with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road last night.
Luke Freeman’s goal was enough to scoop the points for the hosts, who had lost their last seven matches in the league before last night’s game.
Leeds are now outside the top two on goal difference, having played the same amount of games as Norwich City and Sheffield United, as their patchy form since the turn of the year continues.
The supporters have been riding high this season but they have seen their side falter in the closing months of the season so often that they are worried it will happen again.

That explains why the supporters may be starting to panic after an insipid performance against a side who shouldn’t have caused them too many problems.
Leeds need to find a run of form to calm the nerves of their supporters and propel them back into the top two or these feelings of anxiousness are only going to intensify as the weeks wear on…
