Leeds fans rip into Mateusz Klich for performance against QPR

Leeds United suffered a 1-0 defeat away to QPR on Saturday – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were left highly critical of Mateusz Klich’s performance in the centre of the park.

Nahki Wells scored the winning goal in the 20th minute from close-range, but the ball appeared to strike his hand in the build-up.

The Yorkshire giants tried to bombard the QPR goal with plenty of chances, but couldn’t find the clinical touch and it’s an issue that has been around all season.

Patrick Bamford also saw his penalty saved to deny the Whites at least a point and it means they have just one point from their last three league matches.

Leeds remain second in the Championship table and now have a four-point cushion above Fulham in third, but key midfielder Kalvin Phillips will miss the next three games with a suspension following his red card.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media were left unimpressed by Klich following his afternoon’s work against QPR and believe he was a real weak link.

The 29-year-old central midfielder was unable to provide a serious goal threat like he’s capable of and he’s not scored in the league since November.
