Leeds fans rip into Ezgjan Alioski for his latest performance

Leeds United were held to a 0-0 draw away to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday – and some of the club’s supporters voiced their anger towards Ezgjan Alioski for his performance.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team were unable to find a cutting edge in the final third and had to settle for a point on the road against their Yorkshire neighbours.

They have now drawn back-to-back matches in the Championship and missed an opportunity to move to the division’s summit temporarily.

The Whites once again fell short in attack, as their underwhelming finishing and errors start to cost them.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media picked out Alioski for his contribution and feel that he was a real weak link in the side.

The versatile 27-year-old played as a left wing-back against Wednesday and didn’t cover himself in glory.

His end product is an area that he has to improve on as he was extremely sloppy at the weekend, while he also saw a header came off the woodwork late on.

The Macedonia international had a difficult defensive performance too in dealing with Adam Reach and he’s perhaps fortunate to be edging out teammate Barry Douglas.
