Kun Temenuzhkov has reflected on Twitter after a successful season with Leeds at Under-23s level – and some of the club’s supporters have responded to predict a big future for him.
The 19-year-old centre-forward helped the Whites win the Professional Development League national title this season.
He’s managed seven goals across all competitions and is someone that has been making a name for himself at youth level at Elland Road.
Temenuzhkov is a skilful striker that has brilliant individual quality and is being tipped to be a future senior player.
He was handed his first-team debut by Marcelo Bielsa back in January, as he came off the bench to feature in a late cameo during an FA Cup defeat to QPR.
The Bulgarian will hope that more senior opportunities follow next year and he can only continue catching the eye for the Under-23s.
There is clearly a path into the first team from the academy at Leeds, with a number of players taking that in recent years.
Jack Clarke is the major success story to do it during the 2018/19 season and he could still have a big say during the upcoming play-offs.
Here are some Leeds fans hailing their academy product Temenuzhkov following his Twitter post:
We’re all very proud. Keep going!
