Leeds fans respond to Stuart Dallas’s tweet after Luton win

A number of Leeds United fans took to Twitter to respond to Stuart Dallas after the midfielder expressed his delight at the Whites’ win at Luton on Saturday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have returned to the top two in the Championship. But they were relying on a late winner to see off the Hatters, who had equalised within minutes of Patrick Bamford’s opener at Kenilworth Road.

It was perhaps not the kind of performance that will love long in the memory. But it was the kind of result that could be looked back upon as being crucial come the end of the campaign, particularly with the winner coming so late.

Leeds have continued to win plaudits for their brand of football this season. But they once again proved how resilient they can be. It was the kind of game that previous Leeds sides would have thrown away – especially after Luton took the initiative once they bagged an equaliser.

And one of the players who arguably best highlights the transformation in attitude at Leeds is Dallas. The Northern Irishman has enjoyed an outstanding start to the season. And it appears that he impressed a number of fans with his performance on Saturday.

The 28-year-old has previously struggled a little more in the middle of the park. But he provided another reminder of why Bielsa has shown so much faith in him this term.

It was arguably his best performance in that area of the field. And after commenting on the win on social media, Dallas was met with a number of plaudits from the delighted supporters.
