Leeds United’s point against Brentford at Griffin Park kept Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the top two for 24 hours at least, after Nottingham Forest suffered a 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic – and Leeds fans have reacted to Joe Lolley’s Tweet.
Liam Cooper cancelled out Said Benrahma’s opener to secure a point in London, but the wait to win at Griffin Park is set to continue – with the Whites last picking up three points against The Bees in their backyard way back in 1950.
It was a solid point against a good side for Leeds, who came into the match under enormous pressure ans scrutiny from supporters and sections of the media after a 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
But the result was made a whole lot better as Sabri Lamouchi’s Forest failed to beat Charlton Athletic at home, with the French boss making five changes to the side that beat Leeds. Lolley posted on Twitter after they lost 1-0 to the Addicks.
No excuses, nowhere near good enough 😞

Lolley, 27, has been in top form for Forest once again this season and he laid on assist on Saturday to help Forest beat Leeds. Many teams, though, struggle in their next game if they manage to beat Leeds, and Forest are the latest to suffer.
Leeds fans reacted to Lolley’s Tweet in an attempt to tease the Forest ace, with many sarcastically suggesting that Forest won their Cuo final against Marcelo Bielsa’s side on the weekend.
it’s okay joe, you won the league last saturday mate.
