Eddie Nketiah posted a video on Twitter of himself training with England’s Under-21s side – and some Leeds United fans responded to him by stating he should be starting games at Elland Road.

The 20-year-old is with the Young Lions during the international break and he’s posted a training video on his official Twitter account.

He joined the Whites in the summer on a season-long loan from Arsenal and has had to play second fiddle to teammate Patrick Bamford in attack.

Nketiah has four goals in his opening nine games across all competitions for the Yorkshire club, but he’s yet to start a single game in the Championship.

The rapid centre-forward is someone that is clinical in the box and has intelligent movement that makes him a nightmare for defenders.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has preferred to use him as an impact substitute and the work-rate of Bamford has seen him nail down his spot.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media are bewildered that quality talent Nketiah continues to be on the bench.

The striker needs to try impress with England’s Under-21s side, who face Austria next Tuesday in a qualifying fixture.

He somehow needs to try force a stubborn Bielsa into change and that means taking any opportunity to impress that comes his way.
