A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to reply to Robin Koch as the defender dropped a further hint that he is edging closer to a return.

Koch has been out of action since the defeat to Chelsea in December. He told BILD shortly after the defeat that he was set to be sidelined for three months with a knee injury.

The good news is the German appears to be making good progress.

He has posted a picture of himself on social media, in Leeds training gear inside the Thorp Arch gym.

While he gives no indication of how far away he may be from a return to Marcelo Bielsa’s side, the post is certainly a positive one as he included the caption: ‘Loading’…

Unsurprisingly, the news has gone down incredibly well amongst Leeds fans on Twitter.

Bielsa has had to deal with a number of significant injuries this season. Both of the defenders he brought in in the summer – Koch and Diego Llorente – have had to deal with lengthy absences.

In their absences, Liam Cooper has been superb alongside either Pascal Struijk or Luke Ayling. But Leeds have also been caught out at times.

Koch – who cost £13 million, according to Goal – was impressive before being sidelined. So you can understand why the supporters are so pleased to see that the centre-back appears to be on the right path.

Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the post…
