A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to laud Tyler Roberts’s performance during the Whites’ 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are back at the top of the Championship after securing the three points. It did appear however, that Leeds were going to, once again, struggle to find the back of the net.

The home side had a number of openings at Elland Road. Patrick Bamford was denied by an incredible challenge when he had rounded the goalkeeper. And Mateusz Klich had fired over when he got on the end of Luke Ayling’s stunning cross.
But the deadlock was broken just before the break. Jack Harrison laid the ball off to Roberts, who guided the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the box.

The Wales international was making his first league start of the season. And he vindicated Bielsa’s decision with an outstanding display.
It is remarkable to think that Roberts was substituted after coming on against West Brom back in October. With one performance, the 20-year-old appears to have reestablished himself as a key man in Bielsa’s side.
And, unsurprisingly, the fans were full of praise for Roberts’s contribution. Leeds’s biggest problem has been finding a ruthless touch in front of goal. But the attacking midfielder showed the side exactly how it was done, showing the composure to produce a neat finish for the opening goal.
The supporters on social media have suggested that Roberts has provided another reminder of what a special player he can be. And there is plenty of excitement regarding the contribution that he could make during the rest of the campaign.
Here is what some of the supporters made of Roberts’s performance…
