Leeds fans react to Tyler Roberts call-up for Wales

Tyler Roberts has been included in the Wales squad for the upcoming internatonal break – and some Leeds United fans are worried that their attacker is an injury risk.

The 20-year-old has been earned a call-up to the Wales squad and has previously earned seven senior caps for his nation.

He will be in contention to play in European Championship qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Hungary.

After missing the start of the season through injury, Roberts has returned in recent weeks to his best form and is looking an important player under Marcelo Biesla.

He earned his first start of the season at the weekend and scored in a 2-0 victory against QPR>

The attacking midfielder excelled in an advanced role behind the striker and is a young talent with a lot of potential.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media are not pleased about Roberts’ inclusion in the Wales squad and are worried about his fitness.

He’s still working his way back to his sharpest and it’s always a risk when players link up with their countries.

The playmaker will be focused on breaking back into the XI at Elland Road on a permanent basis and it will be no surprise if he starts at home to Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.
