A number of Leeds United fans have lauded Stuart McKinstry after noticing how he reacted to Illan Meslier saving the decisive penalty in their Carabao Cup win at Fulham.
What’s the story?
Leeds are through to the fourth round of the competition for the first time under Marcelo Bielsa.
After a goalless 90 minutes, they beat the Cottagers on penalties. It was McKinstry who put the visitors 6-5 ahead with Leeds’ eighth spot-kick.

Pictures from the game showed that rather than immediately join the rest of the squad, McKinstry turned round and started running towards the away end at Craven Cottage.
It is an outstanding image. And it has certainly brought a smile to the faces of many Leeds supporters on social media.
McKinstry a potential cult-hero at Leeds?

He had already endeared himself to fans with a superb spot-kick. The Scot calmly rolled the ball into the bottom corner at a time when the nerves were really building.
His reaction to the win is exactly what every supporter wants to see. It is abundantly clear just what it means to the 19-year-old.
And they will be hoping that it is not too long before his second senior appearance comes along.
With that in mind, here is what some of the fans made of the superb photo of the teenager…
