A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun over the weekend suggesting that Arsenal have decided not to recall Eddie Nketiah in January.
Nketiah’s future is a major talking point at Elland Road heading into January. The striker joined the Whites on a season-long loan. But he is still awaiting the chance to make his first Championship start.

Leeds fans would have been forgiven for fearing that the Gunners would recall him next month before sending him elsewhere. But it appears that the Premier League side may have other ideas.
According to a report from The Sun last week, Arsenal are planning to leave Nketiah at Leeds for the entirety of the campaign.

The report has, unsurprisingly, been met by a largely positive reaction on social media. While Leeds fans are probably yet to see the best of Nketiah, they have certainly seen glimpses of his quality.
The 20-year-old has scored three league goals. He has arguably won Marcelo Bielsa’s side five points with those goals. He scored a winner against Brentford and broke the deadlock late on in the victory at Barnsley. Nketiah would also bag a last-gasp equaliser at Preston North End in October.
However, there is also a concern that it may be premature to get too excited about the report. Arsenal are still without a permanent manager, and one fan suggested that an appointment may leave everything up in the air once again.
There is still some concern that the Gunners will still recall Nketiah in January if he does not play more in the coming weeks. The report has certainly provided most Leeds fans with hope, but some are clearly not getting carried away until a decision is confirmed.
Here is how some of the Leeds fans have reacted to the report…
