Leeds United produced a stunning performance to beat Leicester City 3-1 away from home on Sunday afternoon despite going behind to Harvey Barnes opener – and fans have raved about Liam Cooper’s moment of brilliance.

The Whites came into the match after beating Newcastle 2-1 earlier this week, while Leicester had just drawn with Everton – though they were without Jamie Vardy and Wilfried Ndidi for the clash at the King Power.

But Barnes but Leicester ahead, squeezing an effort into the corner. But that was about as good as it got for Leicester, as a lovely flick from Patrick Bamford saw Stuart Dallas run onto the ball and equalise with a brilliant finish.

In the second half, man-of-the-match Bamford made it two with a stunning effort that flew into the top corner of Kasper Schmeichel’s net. It was three late on as an unselfish Bamford squared the ball to Jack Harrison to net.

Cooper, 29, has been in and out of the Leeds side with injury this season, but one of his best performances of the season came on Sunday – marking Ayoze Perez out of the game. He crunched the Spaniard in the second half.

Taking the ball, Cooper completely wiped out the Leicester man. Many Whites fans applauded the Leeds captain for his impeccable tackle, much like his performance.
