Marcelo Bielsa has been quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post as saying that it is not up to him when deciding his future beyond the end of the season – and some Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter.
The 63-year-old is halfway through his two-year deal at Elland Road, having impressed as manager of the Yorkshire outfit. He has a chance of guiding the Whites to promotion within his first season.
But there has been suggestions that Bielsa could leave this summer if the Whites fail to gain promotion from the Championship, into the Premier League. They currently sit in third, with the play-offs secured.
Former Argentina manager Bielsa was asked if he is to remain at Elland Road with promotion in the balance, and he stated it is not the time to discuss his future beyond the summer.

“It’s not up to me and I don’t have any response to that. It’s not a decision that we have to take now and it’s not the right time to give my opinion on it,” Bielsa said.
Leeds take on Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, with two league games to play. The Whites sit three points behind Sheffield United, after two successive losses to Wigan Athletic and Brentford.
Fans of the former Champions League club responded to Bielsa’s comments on Twitter, with the majority concerned that they could lose the former Athletic Bilbao and Marseille boss.
