Leeds fans react to Harrison Reed transfer reports

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail suggesting that the Whites want Harrison Reed in the transfer window.

It looks to be imperative that Leeds strengthen their midfield options this summer. Stuart Dallas was incredible this past season, but his versatility is hugely important to Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

They also struggled for much of the season whenever Kalvin Phillips was unavailable. Admittedly, Robin Koch produced a couple of superb displays later on, but further reinforcements would be welcome.

And according to the report, Reed is on their radar. It is claimed that the Fulham midfielder is wanted by a host of Premier League.

The 26-year-old was impressive despite Scott Parker’s side failing to beat the drop in the top flight.

Sky Sports reported that he cost £6 million when he joined permanently from Southampton last summer.

Admittedly, some supporters seem underwhelmed with the links. Obviously, it is putting some off that he has been relegated.

But there are plenty of fans who believe that he would be an excellent signing.

He is a player capable of providing cover for Phillips in holding midfield. But he can also push further forward. He is good on the ball and loves to get stuck in.
