Leeds United fans would be forgiven for cherishing every moment Pablo Hernandez spends on the Elland Road pitch with the Spanish magician heading towards the twilight of his career.

Hernandez made his 150th appearance for the Whites at the weekend. He has unquestionably been an amazing signing for Leeds, and many believe that he is, by far, the club’s best player since they fell out of the Premier League.

In truth, Hernandez seems irreplaceable for Leeds. But perhaps, that may not be entirely true as a video emerged on social media on Monday involving his young son Eric.

The video – which was posted by Hernandez’s wife – shows the youngster taking the ball from inside his own half and running through before finding the back of the net with a thunderous strike.

And if there was any doubt whose son the player was, Eric Hernandez proceeds to mimic the goal celebration that Leeds fans have seen 33 times since his father arrived in 2016.

And unsurprisingly, plenty of Leeds supporters have implored the club to make sure that they get Hernandez’s son signed up at the earliest opportunity.

If he has the potential to be anywhere near as talented as his father, he will surely have the opportunity to enjoy a brilliant career.

And if he ends up playing for Leeds, there is no question that he will almost immediately become one of the most popular players on the club’s books.

Here is the tweet which included the video of Eric’s goal, as well as some of the best responses from the Leeds fans…
