Leeds fans react on Twitter to Todd Cantwell interest reports

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Telegraph over the weekend suggesting that the Whites have begun talks with Norwich City over Todd Cantwell.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have made a promising start to the new season. They have won two of their opening three games in the Premier League.

Nevertheless, it appears that they are not done in the market just yet. According to a report from The Telegraph, Leeds have opened discussions with the Canaries over a potential move for Cantwell.

It is noted by the report that the Whites have bigger priorities in the window. But the 22-year-old is on their list of potential options as the deadline looms.

And it appears that plenty of supporters are excited by the prospect of Cantwell joining. Admittedly, there are some fans who have not been quite as kind in their assessments of the links.

But several have suggested that he could be a fantastic signing. He scored six goals in the Premier League last season, while he also provided two assists for Daniel Farke’s men.

And some believe that he could take his game to the next level working under Bielsa. He should only get better in the coming years anyway. But Bielsa, to many, could be the perfect coach to help Cantwell realise his serious potential.
