A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Stuart Dallas’s performance during their 1-0 win at Middlesbrough on Wednesday.
Leeds remain five points clear of the chasing pack in the Championship. Mateusz Klich’s goal at the end of the first-half settled the game.

Some may have been tempted to assume that Leeds would find it easy to see off Boro given their respective places in the table. But it was not plain-sailing for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
The home side asked plenty of questions at the Riverside Stadium. But Leeds defended superbly for much of the game, and Kiko Casilla did not have a lot to do.

And one of the players who impressed the fans on social media during the victory was Dallas. Once again, the Northern Irishman was tasked with playing at left-back.
He ensured that Boro did not have much to shout about down their right flank. And he made a number of blistering runs up the pitch.
Whoscored.com shows that Dallas made a remarkable seven interceptions – two more than anyone else on the pitch. He also made more successful passes than anyone else involved.
And several fans have insisted that he was the man of the match in Wednesday’s victory. Some have even suggested that he has staked a further claim for Leeds’s player of the season with a brilliant display.
