A number of Leeds United supporters have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Telegraph over the weekend suggesting that the Whites want Ruslan Malinovskyi.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have made a remarkable start to life back in the Premier League. Both of their games have ended 4-3, with the club picking up their first win since promotion at the weekend.

But it appears that they are looking to strengthen their ranks further. The Telegraph reports that their bid to bring Rodrigo De Paul to Elland Road has, so far, proved unsuccessful due to Udinese’s asking price.
And that has prompted the club to look at Malinovskyi. The Telegraph notes that the Atalanta star is set to be cheaper than De Paul, with the Serie A side valuing the Ukraine international at £20 million.

The two targets had a direct hand in the same number of league goals last season. But Malinovskyi played a key role in the Atalanta side that reached the quarter-final of the Champions League.
And plenty of Leeds fans believe that he would actually be an even better target than De Paul. Malinovskyi tends to play slightly further forward than the Argentinian.
And it appears that some supporters would not mind if the club cannot reach an agreement for De Paul if it means a move for Malinovskyi instead.
Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
