A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Rodrigo Moreno’s display during the Whites’ clash with Newcastle on Wednesday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side managed to bounce back from their back-to-back defeats in dramatic fashion. They had initially gone behind, and were pegged back to 2-2 before scoring three times late on.

It was a remarkable display from the home side, particularly after they had conceded a second goal. And many felt that Rodrigo was vital to their victory.
It was the Spain international who scored Leeds’s second. And that came after he had also played an important role in their equaliser as his header came back off the bar into Patrick Bamford’s path.

The former Valencia man has not always had the easiest time at Elland Road. He has struggled to maintain some consistency for various reasons since his arrival.
There have certainly been glimpses of his quality. But it seems that many felt that it was his best performance yet for the club.
Everything Leeds did well seemed to go through the 29-year-old while he was on the pitch. He was superb in the number 10 role, and his partnership with Patrick Bamford looks to be blossoming into something vitally important for Bielsa.
Plenty of fans took to social media to laud Rodrigo’s display. Leeds finished the game in some style after he had been taken off, but many felt that no player was more impressive.
