A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight after the club posted a video on social media showing Patrick Bamford back in training.
Bamford has endured a torrid time with injury. He has not featured for Marcelo Bielsa’s side since the 1-1 draw with Newcastle back in September.

The Whites, of course, have not had the easiest time of it this term. Following their defeat to Tottenham on Sunday, Leeds sit 17th in the Premier League table. They were also the only side in the bottom seven to lose at the weekend.
Injuries have hurt Leeds incredibly badly this term. And not having Bamford for their last seven league games has certainly had a major impact on the Whites.

The concern for Leeds fans had been that there appeared to be no end in sight to Bamford’s recovery. And having seen Adam Forshaw spend two years on the sidelines after seemingly getting close on a number of occasions, you can understand why some may have feared the worst.
But they have now received a huge boost. Leeds posted a video on their social media showing Bamford working alongside Robin Koch on the training pitch.

But it is clearly a massive step in the right direction. And the Leeds fans could not be happier as it seems that Bamford may finally be closing in on a return.
With that in mind, here is how some reacted to the video…
