A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to express their concern regarding Pablo Hernandez’s future following the Spaniard’s display in the Whites’ 1-0 defeat to Wigan on Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were beaten by Paul Cook’s men during a familiarly frustrating afternoon for the promotion-chasers.

Leeds dominated in almost every statistic, but Wigan came out on top in the most important area. And it was a bizarre own goal from Hernandez that decided the game.
Hernandez attempted to block a corner, but only managed to send the ball looping over Kiko Casilla.

It would be unfair to blame Hernandez too much for a freak goal. In fact, most supporters seem to have absolved the 34-year-old and have instead criticised Casilla.
Nevertheless, Hernandez’s overall performance has left a number of fans on social media feeling extremely concerned.
Hernandez has been Leeds’s talisman for so much of his time at Elland Road. He had a direct hand in 24 Championship goals last season.
He has contributed four goals and four assists this term. But some are questioning whether his disappointing display is a sign that Leeds may no longer be able to rely on Hernandez as much as they have done.
Of course, emotions are running high after such a frustrating defeat. And it would be no surprise to see Hernandez produce a number of match-winning displays before the campaign concludes.
But it is perhaps telling that a number of supporters are fearful that Leeds’s wizard may no longer be able to produce as many moments of magic as he has done in the past.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to Hernandez’s display…
