Leeds fans react on Twitter to Mateusz Klich’s display vs Spurs

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Mateusz Klich’s display as the Whites produced an outstanding performance to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Klich seemed to be one of several players with a point to prove at Elland Road. The Poland international was one of those who really struggled at Brighton last weekend.

And it looked to be a daunting task ahead. Spurs had won their first two Premier League games under Ryan Mason. And their front four was hugely impressive last time out.

However, Leeds were superb against the visitors. Goals from Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo saw the home side get the three points.

Klich meanwhile, silenced many of his critics with an amazing display. It seemed to be one of his most energetic performances for some time.

No player completed more passes than the 30-year-old (via Whoscored). He also made two tackles and completed two dribbles.

He produced some delightful touches at both ends of the pitch. And the £1.5 million star’s performance prompted plenty of Leeds fans to laud him on social media.

It has been a tough few months for Klich after a fantastic start to the campaign for the midfielder. But many clearly felt that he was back to his best against Tottenham.
