Leeds fans react on Twitter to Marcelo Bielsa's comments on Adam Forshaw
A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to express further concern for Adam Forshaw following Marcelo Bielsa’s latest comments on the midfielder – which have been reported by Leeds Live.
It is more than 14 months since the 29-year-old last played for the Whites. He missed the large majority of their promotion-winning campaign. And he is yet to feature in the Premier League.

It has not been made clear how long Forshaw is set to be out for. And when asked about how his recovery is going, Bielsa was only able to offer a vague answer.
“He has highs and lows,” he said, as reported by Leeds Live. “But up until this point he hasn’t been able to do any football practises.”

It must be difficult for Bielsa. There have been times when it has appeared that Forshaw has been edging closer to returning, only for the timeframe to change. And those moments only result in disappointment for all parties.
So it makes sense that he is choosing to only offer a tentative update. That may take some of the pressure off of the former Middlesbrough man.
But there is still a sense of disappointment amongst the supporters on social media following Bielsa’s latest comments. They have expressed how upset they are for Forshaw that it remains unclear how long he still has out of the side.
Some are desperately hoping that Forshaw can come back. He was playing the best football of his Leeds spell just before he picked up his injury. And it would be a huge shame if he did not get the chance to get back into Bielsa’s side.
Here is how some of the supporters have reacted to Bielsa’s latest comments…

I hope it isn’t but I think it could be curtains for Forshaw, be nice if he could get fit enough for a send off at least. A great servant for the club https://t.co/Q8Q1zAD7Gs

I hope Forshaw can play again soon

I think we have missed him in CM. There have been times we have needed his ball retention in midfield specially against the bigger teams.

Shame but signs aren’t good at all
