A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the stunning goal Helder Costa scored to help the under-23s to victory on Monday.
Perhaps surprisingly, Costa played no part in Leeds’s first-team draw with Arsenal on Sunday. But he was named on the bench as Mark Jackson’s men faced West Brom at Thorp Arch this afternoon.

Costa was brought on at half-time as Leeds trailed 1-0. And he more than played his part in a significantly better second-half display from the Whites.
Ultimately, Leeds secured the win. Tyler Roberts scored the equaliser. And it was Costa who bagged the winner with a remarkable goal as the final five minutes loomed.

The Portuguese collected the ball outside the area. He then proceeded to drive into the box before nutmegging one defender and then using his quick feet to poke the ball home.
Costa seemingly managed to dance past another challenge with his left foot and before scooping the ball into back of the net with his right.
Having not been involved at the weekend, it appeared to be a timely moment of brilliance from Costa. And unsurprisingly, many took to social media to laud the 26-year-old.
Several even compared the strike with the famous goal Eddie Gray scored against Burnley in 1970. And they are hoping that there is a lot more to come from the winger when he is given a chance to rediscover the form he showed at the start of the season.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to Costa’s winner…
