A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Helder Costa’s display as the Whites were beaten 4-1 by Leicester City on Monday.
It looked set to be an evening to forget for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. The Foxes took a 2-0 lead early on and Leeds struggled to do all the things that had seen them take the Premier League by storm in the opening weeks of the season.

However, an early goal in the second-half seemed to spark Leeds back into life. There is no question that the home side were well on top for a while after the break and looked to be in with a fantastic chance of finding an equaliser before the visitors killed the game.
It was not a night in which any Leeds player secured overwhelming praise. But Costa seemed to be one of the few who did receive some credit on social media.

The Portuguese looked lively for much of the contest. Leeds looked most dangerous down the right flank during the first-half, and that was largely down to Costa and Luke Ayling.
He took up a more central role after the break. And while he was ultimately unable to make a major impact, he did cause problems and linked up nicely with Jack Harrison at times.
His performance prompted some Leeds fans to suggest that the 26-year-old was one of the only performers who can be content with his display. It was not the home side’s night, but Costa seemed to be one who received pass marks from many.
