A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Eddie Nketiah’s performance as the Arsenal loanee got a rare chance to play alongside Patrick Bamford on Saturday.
Leeds are coming to terms with their first defeat since October after being beaten 2-1 at Fulham. It was a controversial loss, with the home side benefiting from a very questionable penalty decision during the first-half.

With one substitution already made, it may have surprised many when Marcelo Bielsa decided to bring Nketiah on at the break at Craven Cottage.
Nketiah has come off the bench 14 times this term, but that only includes a handful of half-time introductions. And it seems to have been just as rare for the 20-year-old to be on the pitch at the same time as Bamford.

But it appeared that the decision was going to prove to be a masterstroke. Nketiah’s effort early on in the second-half was parried into Bamford’s path, and the latter took full advantage of the opportunity to bag an equaliser.
Interestingly, Nketiah’s involvement alongside Bamford seemed to divide supporters on social media. Some felt that Nketiah did not do enough while on the pitch. And it was suggested that having two forwards on the pitch hurt Leeds.
However, others have insisted that they want to see Bamford and Nketiah get more opportunities to play alongside each other in future. And with plenty of fans fearing that Arsenal will recall the striker in January, it may be an option that Bielsa needs to keep in mind.
Here is what some of the Leeds fans made of Nketiah’s performance and his partnership with Bamford…
