Leeds fans react on Twitter to Eberechi Eze’s display

A number of Leeds United fans have implored the club to make an ambitious move for Eberechi Eze after the Queens Park Rangers star’s display in the Whites’ 2-0 win at Elland Road on Saturday.

Eze has enjoyed a wonderful season so far. He has scored six goals and provided four assists for Mark Warburton’s men. And it now looks almost inevitable that he will be playing Premier League football within the next 12 months.

Despite coming out on the losing side on Saturday, Eze has been lauded by many Leeds fans as the best player on the pitch.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side fouled the youngster on a number of occasions as they attempted to stop him having an influence on the game.

It is no surprise that Leeds knew how dangerous Eze would be. As well as Bielsa being meticulous in his preparation, reports from last season suggested that the Whites were actually interested in signing Eze.

TalkSPORT reported in March that Leeds had a tentative interest in the 21-year-old. Promotion looks to be a must if Leeds are going to stand a chance of signing Eze at some stage in the future.

But if they do go up, it appears that it would be an incredibly popular move to go after the QPR talisman. The fans were full of praise for the starlet’s performance, with some suggesting that he is amongst the most talented players in the entire division.
