A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Cody Drameh’s performance as the Whites’ under-23s beat Sunderland 2-0 on Monday.

Mark Jackson’s side collected another win. Their goals came from Tyler Roberts and Niall Huggins. But a number of others produced outstanding performances in the victory at Thorp Arch.

Drameh was one of those who seemed to stand out against the Black Cats. He was actually sent off in controversial circumstances in the previous meeting between the two. But he enjoyed a much better afternoon this time around.

The 19-year-old linked up with Helder Costa superbly during the first-half. Some of his touches and pieces of skill were outrageous.

He made some superb runs down the line and caused real problems for those down Sunderland’s left flank.

It was another reminder of the promise Drameh has shown since arriving at Elland Road in the summer. And plenty of supporters are predicting an incredibly bright future for the teenager.

Of course, it is not going to be easy for the youngster to break into Marcelo Bielsa’s plans. Luke Ayling remains one of the first names on the team sheet.

And when he is deployed in another role, Bielsa has Stuart Dallas to turn to.

Nevertheless, many fans believe that it may be a matter of time before Drameh gets his chance in the senior side as he continues to impress.

Here is how some of the fans reacted to his display…
