A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun on Sunday (5/1; page 61) suggesting that Marcelo Bielsa is interested in Barnsley striker Cauley Woodrow.
Leeds certainly appear to need a new striker this month. Eddie Nketiah has been recalled from his loan spell by Arsenal.

That leaves Bielsa with the likes of Tyler Roberts, Jack Harrison and Helder Costa to provide support for Patrick Bamford.
Given Leeds’s injury record in recent times, it would arguably be a huge gamble to not sign another forward this month. But it appears that the Championship leaders do have a target in mind.

According to The Sun on Sunday (5/1; page 61), Leeds are interested in Woodrow. The Barnsley man has scored nine league goals for the Tykes this term.
Despite Barnsley’s struggles, plenty of Leeds fans on Twitter seem to be in favour of a move for the 25-year-old.
They have suggested that he may be an ideal option for Bielsa’s style. And it has been suggested that he may be the perfect understudy for Bamford during the second-half of the season.
