Leeds fans react on Twitter to Ben White’s performance

A number of Leeds United fans have lauded Ben White on Twitter after the defender produced another excellent performance for the Whites on Saturday.

It is hardly a hot-take to suggest that White has been an inspired signing for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. He went into this season still awaiting the chance to play at a level higher than League One.

But the Brighton loanee has been a revelation. His partnership with Liam Cooper has been a key reason why Leeds boast the best defensive record in the division. They have conceded just eight goals, with the next best defence conceding 12.

Unlike Cooper however, White has played every minute in the league this season. And he once again showed why he is so highly-rated at the weekend as Leeds beat QPR 2-0.

The Whites were not given too many problems defensively. But White dealt with everything asked of him, and produced some superb runs out of the backline.

He looked a real threat when he had the ball, and it is clear that his confidence is only growing. And that has prompted the Leeds fans to heap praise on the centre-back.

In fact, it was suggested by a couple of supporters that he is destined to play for England. The Leeds supporters feel incredibly lucky to have White, and believe that their defence is significantly better than last year with him in the side.
