A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from 90min this week claiming that the Whites are interested in Adama Traore ahead of the January window.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have made a number of statements in the transfer market since sealing promotion. They have signed established internationals such as Rodrigo Moreno, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente.

And it appears that they may now have their eye on one of Rodrigo and Llorente’s Spain teammates.

According to 90min, Leeds are monitoring Traore. It is suggested that contract talks with Wolves have stalled. And his asking price has gone from £70 million to around £40 million in recent times.

And as 90min notes, Victor Orta has already signed Traore once before. He was at Middlesbrough when the winger moved to the Riverside Stadium.

Unsurprisingly, the reports have prompted plenty of reaction on social media. Admittedly, there are many who cannot see Traore ending up at Elland Road anytime soon.

And there are some who do not think he is needed. He is yet to contribute a goal or assist in 14 Premier League appearances this season. And Leeds boast plenty of options out wide.

However, some fans have insisted that they would love to see how Traore could develop if Bielsa could get the best out of him. He would certainly be an incredibly exciting signing – even if his form has been somewhat underwhelming this term.

With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
