Leeds fans react on Twitter as Whites reportedly eye Ollie Watkins

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Sunday Mirror (2/8; page 67) claiming that the Whites want Ollie Watkins this summer.

But perhaps the Leeds fans may have reason to believe that their summer business could ramp up on Wednesday amid reports from over the weekend.

The Sunday Mirror (2/8; page 67) reports that Bielsa is an admirer of Watkins and plans to make a move should Brentford fail to win the Championship play-off final tomorrow.

The report notes that the Bees could demand up to £30 million for the forward, who has scored 26 goals this season.

But it is also suggested that a move away from Thomas Frank’s men will almost definitely be off the cards should they beat Fulham and join Leeds at English football’s top table next season.

Plenty of Leeds supporters have therefore insisted that they are desperate to see Scott Parker’s side come out on top – though some do not believe that they will – as they believe that Watkins would be an outstanding signing.

The 24-year-old has been superb since moving to Griffin Park. And given his ability to play anywhere across the front line, many Whites fans have claimed that he could be a revelation working under Bielsa.
