Leeds fans react on Twitter as Robbie Gotts scores again

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter after Robbie Gotts scored yet another goal for Salford City on Tuesday night.

Gotts has made a flying start to life on loan with the League Two side. He scored in his second game for the club after his arrival following a spell with Lincoln City.

And he has now doubled his tally for Richie Wellens’s men. The 21-year-old scored their third goal in their 4-1 victory over Cambridge last night.

It was a composed finish from the youngster, who started in an attacking midfield role. He played a delightful one-two with Ian Henderson before finding the bottom corner.

In some ways, it was a goal somewhat reminiscent of what Leeds fans may expect from Marcelo Bielsa’s side, with the pair passing in a triangle around the opposition.

And many Leeds supporters have joined ex-Whites defender Kevin Sharp in taking to social media to laud the academy graduate. After a difficult time at Lincoln, the versatile starlet is demonstrating why Bielsa appears to have such high hopes for Gotts.

Of course, he needs to maintain this form if he hopes to really stake a claim for greater involvement at Elland Road next season. But there is no doubt that he is off to a flying start.
